This fortnight's challenge theme is to showcase a project using
your Favourite Christmas Stamp & Why.
You MUST explain WHY it is your favourite.

Here are the beautiful creations made by our Design Team to get your mojo flowing:

I love this Lili of the Valley stamp. I've had it for a couple of years but it's great for many reasons:
1) It's really quick to colour so great for last-minute makes,
2) Penguins are one of my favourite winter critters,
3) I love images that feature a scene or several characters,
4) It includes a sentiment so I don't need to add one!

Samantha
I love snowflakes they really help jazz up christmas
I have several different snowflake stamps but my favourite ones are Snowflake serenade from Papertrey Ink, you can not buy them in the UK so they are super special.
and they are Great to cards and also decorating paper for parcels too!

Carol

I chose Postcard from Stampendous as it reminds me of our home in stormy times. Christmas at it's best!

Mojca

Dancing with star Tilda is my favourite Christmas stamp. Well I can use it for almost any occasion that's why she is my favourite one :)

Sarah

My favourite Christmas stamp is Bildmalarna's Christmas Kiss.

The reason it's my favourite is because I used it lots last year and then lost it :0(
However, as I was looking through my scrap box a couple of weeks ago  there it was, so I've had the pleasure of rediscovering my love for this little sweetie!

Suzette

Suzette is still poorly.
We hope you're feeling better soon Suzette.

So now it's over to you.
We hope you will join in our challenge, show us your style and
showcase your Favourite Christmas Stamp.

Good luck, and happy crafting.
Hugs from the AYLI girls.
And don't forget this challenge will remain open for 3 weeks.

This fortnight's challenge theme is to showcase a project using
your Favourite Digi Stamp & Why.
You MUST explain WHY it is your favourite.

Here are the beautiful creations made by our Design Team to get your mojo flowing:

I do love my digi images; they're so simple to print (with no mess!) and I like that I can flip them and resize them to fit my project.  However, I have so many that my favourites change all the time.  Bears are definitely in my top picks, but at the moment I'm really loving these girlie Sugar Nellie cuties.  This one in particular, called Rosie, is one I have chosen a couple of times lately as she's so pretty. I've also used my favourite digi paper brand, Nitwits on this project.
As a side note, I can't believe how long this project took me to make.
If you want to see how I did it, please pop over to my personal blog.

Samantha
Why is this is my favourite?
Well for a start I LOVE Saturated Canary images and just a few weeks ago I got this one.
She's is actually a Summer image (you can see her on my blog)
but by thinking a little outside of the box, she is now a winter image.

So shes is my favourite because I can use her all year round.

Carol

Favourite Digi image, now that is a hard one! Since I had to make a card for my grandson, it had to be Mo Mannings big shoes. Just adorable and so like Robert shuffling about the room in any big shoes he could find.

Mojca

Well it's always hard choosing between stamps! But at the moment my favourite digi stamp is this Dustin Pike's Owl. It's just so cute and you can colour it in as many colour tones you want. So I decided to use it for all my New Year's cards this year (the sentiment says:"Happy New Year").

Sarah

These adorable little Heather Ellis images are my current favourite. They are soooo easy to colour  and suit most styles of cards.

Suzette

Still poorly - please pop by her blog to send some get well wishes.

So now it's over to you.
We hope you will join in our challenge, show us your style and
showcase your Favourite Digi Stamp.

Good luck, and happy crafting.
Hugs from the AYLI girls.

But before I move onto this fortnight's challenge I have to sneak one more special mention in here, because I was so completely humbled that her chosen designer was lil' old me!!

Thank you Helen for making my day :0)

So, onto our 15th challenge

Sweet Stamps

This fortnight's challenge theme is to showcase a project using

your Favourite Spots or Stripes & Why.
You MUST explain WHY it is your favourite.

Here are the beautiful creations made by our Design Team to get your mojo flowing:

I'm usually not a big fan of stripes, so for me it had to be spots.  I also prefer smaller spotty patterns to huge polka dots, so these spotty papers are perfect for my project.  I've used a grey paper with white spots on my base card, and white paper with grey spots for the large insert panel.

Spots or Stripes? Choosing was easy for me
I LOVE polka dots so it has to be spots for me
I Love the way they look and love that they can be all different sizes
and also be uniform or random too...
I can't really explain why I love them so but i do,
but I do not feel the same way about stripes...

Carol

Just love dotty papers. A simple design that always looks great on any card.

Mojca
Well I love spots! They make the card pop out
and that is why I love using them on my cards.

Sarah

Spots or stripes? I couldn't decide so I cheated

and did eeny meeny miney mo!!

Suzette

Our poor Suzette is poorly at the moment so please send your best 'get well' wishes to her to aid a speedy recovery.
She'll be back in a few weeks' time, but just needs a bit of time to recover.
Take care of yourself hun.
xx

So now it's over to you.

We hope you will join in our challenge, show us your style and
showcase your Favourite Spots or Stripes.

Good luck, and happy crafting.

This fortnight's challenge theme is to showcase a project which
'cases' your Favourite designer.
You MUST explain WHY that designer is your favourite.
(and of course give them credit for your inspiration)

Your chosen designer can be anyone from blogland, not just one of our DT
(although we'd be delighted if we were your favourite!! LOL)

Here are the beautiful creations made by our Design Team to get your mojo flowing:

Using Wee Stamps Xmas Hamster
Selecting just one favourite designer for my project was nearly impossible.  It took me just as long as making the actual project, but after a lot of pondering, Dena is the person I've chosen to case.
Although it is her DI painting skills that I usually aspire to, I think what snagged it was a Christmas Planner that she made recently.  It was something that I wanted to make as soon as I saw it.

I case'd Jen @ The Tiny Blue Butterfly
Here is the card I case'd
Jen is one of many favourite Designers.
There are soooo many but I love Jen's style and also her awesome ideas.
She does many different styles, but I love her C&S the best!

Carol
Well I didn't have to think twice about who's card I was going to CASE. This lady introduced me to a whole new world in crafting. It's Kath from that famous Cubbyhole up in Aberdeenshire. Have met her many times and is such an inspiration. Love her style and witty posts.
You can find here card here. Loved the layout on this one.

Mojca
Oh I just admire Teresa's criss cross cards. They are so elegant and I just have to give it a try myself.

Sarah

I "pinched" my card from here

Creations by Bearhouse
Sue just "knows" what works...that's why she is a favourite of mine!

Suzette

**coming soon**

So now it's over to you.
We hope you will join in our challenge, show us your style and
showcase your Favourite designer.

Good luck, and happy crafting.
Hugs from the AYLI girls.
